I wish I would have found this place earlier! I went from vet to vet office for an entire week and felt the most cared about with VEG. All of the people that cared for my baby Winston was amazing. He’s alive and well today because of them!

Such a wonderful experience! My dog was having an allergic reaction, and I was so nervous. The team took her in right away and were incredibly attentive, kind, and reassuring — not just to my dog but to me as well. They explained everything clearly and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I left feeling relieved and confident knowing she was in such good hands. I brought my dog here after another vet recommended them. It is an open concept where there are no rooms, so you can see the whole team busy at work taking care of all the pets. I was there during a shift change and really liked how they did a group huddle to round on every pet so the whole staff knew what was going on. The team is so professional and friendly, and they even checked in to offer us snacks and refreshments while we were there. I cannot thank Dr. Nikki enough for her kindness and patience. That day was one of the toughest of my life and I felt hopeless, but she was so wonderful and stayed to hold me together even though I was sobbing. She gave me the honest reality of the situation in the kindest way possible, and her words guided me in what was the best care for my pet. Wolfie and I will never forget her or this team and I will always recommend them.

Highly recommend! We brought our sweet hamster in this past September. Everyone at VEG was so kind and helpful. We have had many pets and but the care we received here was top notch. We had to put our baby down and we were given time with her before and after she was put down. They have nice grieving rooms so you can spend time with your babies. Thank you so much for making a tough time easier.

This Emergency clinic is wonderful. We decided to put our beloved bearded dragon, Ember, to sleep. He was very old, and not eating. They were extremely caring and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and let us stay with him until we were ready. The entire process was very hard but the staff made sure we were ready and comfortable with how it goes. We chose to have him cremated and that process was painless for us. I just picked him up today and cried because what I got back is beautiful. Thank you VEG ER.

Came in with a cockatiel that was feeling very unwell. I was very pleasantly surprised they were able to bring us into a private room right away that had a brooder inside so that my bird and I could see each other and avoid any loud dogs or people stressing us both out further. Staff were kind and respectful and worked with me to determine the best steps forward including what they could offer for supportive care and what would likely be more cost effective to do at the avian vet office in the morning. The place is very clean and I felt that our needs were met with enthusiasm. I am very thankful for the grace they gave me in a time of great distress and will return here again if I need to.

I can't tell you how happy I was to have the staff take such great care of me and my cat when I came in! Truly professional and highly caring people the entire 8 hours I ended up being there! I was quite freaking out coming home from work around midnight to my cat meowing in extreme pain, and seeing her drag her rear leg. I had no idea what had happened or what was going on. I had called ahead to let them know I would be coming by. When I got there, they immediately got to work diagnosing and doing everything they could to make my cat feel comfortable and tell me what was going on. Within about 10 minutes, she was diagnosed with saddle thrombus. Among other complications, such as pneumothorax and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy we found out. Things were just really not looking good unfortunately. We did all the tests we could to have the best idea. It's great that they have it set up so it's all open and you can be next to your pet at all times while they do their work. They we're always happy to tell you what they were doing, answer questions, and even talk playfully about her. I got the sense they loved her as much as I did, and knew how tough everything was. Their prices I found to be extremely reasonable. I was never of the mind they were here solely for profit, but to really do all they could to help me and my pet. Even with everything recommended in the initial estimate which was far too much, the head doctor was willing to give her expert opinion to wittle down to just what was absolutely necessary before feeling ok with me taking her back home. She knew I wouldn't settle for euthanizing, given how sudden it all was. Sadly in the end, after having the doctors do all they could with such a life threatening emergency, my little girl didn't make it. I brought her home, she was immediately having trouble breathing and I rushed her back. They immediately started CPR, giving oxygen, doing all they could. But, and I just knew it before we left, she was gone. They

Our 5.5 month old kitten “Wink” had to go to VEG because he stopped eating and threw up. Although the experience was very stressful, the amazing staff at VEG made an otherwise crazy night so much more manageable. We were attended to promptly and only ever separated me from my kitten when he went for an X-ray. Overall amazing team, and great care. Only downsides were cost (which makes since cause it’s an ER) and the open plan could have done with a few more rooms for when they are needed.

Incredibly caring staff. Knowledgeable vets. Most emergency vet visits are the most emotional times with our pets. I was a mess and always felt compassion. They even offered me a hug. They kept my cat, Meems overnight and were thrilled I had a blanket for her. They wanted her to have a piece of home with her to be overnight. Highly recommend!

On September 24, 2025, my dog Luna became VEG’s very first hospitalized patient on opening day. We had initially gone to her oncology specialist, which also handles emergencies, but were turned away due to a critical case arriving. The estimated wait was 2–3 hours, despite an empty lobby. Working in the veterinary field myself, I had already heard a lot of chatter about VEG and their open floor concept, so I decided to stop by. I’m glad I did — the experience truly exceeded my expectations. The team was eager and excited to help, and just as focused on making sure Luna and I were comfortable. Luna was hospitalized overnight, and through the entire process I was impressed with how the open floor model functions. From my perspective in the field, I believe this approach really bridges a gap between veterinary and human medicine. The transparency of the open floor setup allows pet owners to see firsthand the skill, dedication, and hard work that go into patient care. That kind of visibility has the potential to build greater respect and understanding for veterinary medicine as a whole. On a personal note, Luna’s care was excellent. Dr. Kong (intake) and Dr. Richter (discharge) were both kind, clear, and thorough in explaining her plan. Luna even got to assist Orsa in placing her very first catheter, which made the day feel a little more special. Dani, Alexandrea, and Michelle were so sweet and welcoming, helping Luna settle in with ease. The entire team went above and beyond, and what could have been an extremely stressful day turned into one where I felt supported and confident in my dog’s care. I left not only impressed but also optimistic about what VEG is bringing to veterinary medicine.
